She has more than 20 years of direct media experience, including working in television, Internet media, print, and radio. Elicksen cohosts Virtual Newsmakers with Cynthia K. Seymour of Miami. It is a weekly webcast featuring interesting people who are using innovative ways to bridge traditional and digital communications. She also runs Publishing Media Creative Incorporated (www.freelancepublishing.net), and has written ten books including 'Self-Publishing 101' and 'Business Cyberbullies and How to Fight Back ', also published by Self-Counsel Press.
